Exam Result & Achievement 2019:

Some students have been awarded 1st prizes by Dudley, Northfield and Solihull Music Festivals and Birmingham Music Festival. Student also been awarded ” Musician of the Year” at Blue Coat School. Student also has been awarded “The Most Potential Player of the Year” from the Solihull Music Festival. One of the student has archived amazing result of 147/150 (3 marks away from total full mark of 150) in the ABRSM Spring Term Exam 2019.

Exam Result & Achievement 2017:

100% ABRSM Piano Distinction Rate. Some students passed with high Distinction above 140 with full marks in several sections. Some students got into CBSO Youth Orchestra and won 1st Prize at Northfield Music Festival.

Exam Result & Achievement 2016:

100% ABRSM Piano and Violin Distinction Rate. Some students passed with high Distinction above 140 with full marks in several sections. Students are invited to play in ABRSM High Score Concerts. Many Congrats!!

Exam Result & Achievement 2015:

100% ABRSM Piano and Violin Distinction  Rate. Some students are invited to play in ABRSM High score Concert.

Exam Result & Achievement 2014:

We continue to maintain 100% ABRSM Piano and Violin Distinction Rate.

Exam Result & Achievement 2013:

100% ABRSM Pass Rate and 90% Distinction Rate. Pupils have been the highest Mark in both Grade 7 and Grade 8 ABRSM Exam in Birmingham and Wolverhampton area. Some Pupils got 142/150 in their exams.

Exam Result & Achievement 2012:

100% ABRSM Piano Distinction Rate  (Summer Term).

Some students passed with total marks 147 /150 or above 140 with full marks in several sections. Many Congrats!! The Koh Piano Duet, winner of Dudley and Northfield Music Festival has been invited to perform in Northfield Winner’s Concert. FIRST TIME PARTICIPATED IN BIRMINGHAM Music FESTIVAL, All SELLY OAK STUDENTS have been awarded “Outstanding”. Congrats!  2012 Many Students Won Solihull Music Festival Competition 2012, 1st Prize, and performed in Winner’s Concert.

Autumn Term ABRSM Exam Result 2010 :

Selly Oak Oak Music School is very pleased to announce that we maintain the 100% Pass Rate and 100% Distinction Rate (piano pupils). More than 50% of pupils even got full mark on their scales and aural sections. Selly Oak Oak Music School is happy to announce that we maintain the 100% pass rate and 50% of the pupils have passed their Grade exams with distinctions (summer term). Some pupils even got full mark on their scales and aural sections. All violin students passed with Distinction.  We also have pupils who passed their auditions and have been offered places in the Nottingham Youth Orchestra (NYO), Birmingham School Symphony Orchestra (BSSO), and Birmingham Schools Concert Orchestra (BSCO). Well Done! I look forward to seeing a even better result in the New Year 2011.
